actuary.aero Appoints Livia Vité as CEO
December 2, 2024
actuary.aero, a provider of transaction-level payment data intelligence for airlines, travel agents, and other deferred delivery merchants, has appointed Livia Vité as Chief Executive Officer, less than two years after she joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer.
The leadership transition comes as the company expands its product offering to meet the growing needs of deferred delivery merchants, including airlines, travel agencies, and businesses operating with long-lead payment and fulfilment models.
As CCO, Vité led the company’s commercial strategy, driving growth initiatives, industry partnerships, and customer-focused innovation. With 15 years of experience across travel payments, distribution, and risk management at IATA, eNett, and WEX, she played a key role in accelerating company performance. During her tenure, revenue increased by over 200% and the customer portfolio doubled.
In her new role as CEO, Vité will guide actuary.aero through its next growth phase, focusing on expanding its reach within the deferred delivery segment and refining solutions tailored to merchants managing delayed fulfilment timelines.
Leadership Commentary
Maarten Alleman, Founder and Chief Product Officer, said: "As we enter this new chapter, the Board and I have full confidence in Livia’s leadership and experience. Her deep understanding of our clients and commitment to innovation align with our mission to help businesses thrive in a rapidly evolving payments landscape." Alleman will remain with the company, focusing on product development.
In her new position, Vité will oversee strategic initiatives aimed at helping travel and other deferred delivery merchants consolidate payment data and gain full visibility across payment flows. With many travel businesses currently over-collateralised, actuary.aero’s data-driven insights enable merchants to present a clearer view of exposure to payment partners. This supports improved working relationships, optimized cash flow, reduced collateral requirements, and more efficient payment management.
Livia Vité commented: "I am honoured to step into the role of CEO at such a pivotal time. Maarten’s industry expertise and product vision have positioned the company strongly for growth. With his continued leadership in product development and our commitment to delivering innovative solutions, we will further empower airlines, travel agents, and deferred delivery businesses to optimize payment management and strengthen their partnerships."
As actuary.aero continues to evolve, the company remains focused on delivering end-to-end payment visibility, strengthening transparency and trust across the payment ecosystem, and equipping customers with the tools needed to succeed in a dynamic global market.
